Dear All, The date you have been waiting for with increasing impatience can finally be revealed. Make sure the evening of 10 October 2008 is kept clear of work and other trivia, because this is the date for the 2008 Annual Bulgarian City Club Ball! Those of you who came to the 10th Anniversary Ball last year have since been forming pressure groups, lobbying the Government, petitioning the EU and the UN, and exerting all other conceivable influence to ensure there is another Ball this year. They needed not worry - the Annual Ball is now well and truly a part of our Club's calendar. |

BCC party with the Serbian City Club |

The Bulgarian City Club and its Serbian sister organisation held a great joint party on 31 July 2008. Bulgarians and Serbs turned up in great numbers in Quaglino's Bar in St James's to get to know each other and forge new links of friendship. Attendees networked until the late hours, toasted the future cooperation of the Clubs, and on occasion were even surprised to be greeted by Lepa Brena, Ceca, Rambo Amadeus, Azis and other celebs from our region. Were they the real ones? One had to be there... We wish to thank Jelena Bosanac and Milos Stefanovic for co-organising on the Serbian side, to Georgi Yordanov and Radi Ilel for getting in touch with them, and to all those from both Clubs who came to the party and made it such a great fun gathering!
